There are models, paintings and artifacts from the Revolutionary War, Another exhibit highlights conflicts with France and the Barbary pirates off of Africa, including a letter from John Paul Jones, uniforms, artifacts, the "fighting top" from the USS Constitution and a replica of its gun deck. Once at the museum you will see a very large building filled with exhibits from the Navy's extensive and long history. The nearest Metro Station is a few blocks from the base.
